Beelieve is a social enterprise dedicated to inspiring entrepreneurial development and environmental preservation for remote Indigenous communities of Canada. Beelieve was created to help alleviate the problem of poverty and food insecurity on reserves as well as to help increase the global bee population.
Our mission is to provide Canada’s 3100 reservations with beekeeping and orchard business opportunities to improve the livelihoods of over 300,000 Indigenous people and ensure the sustainable growth Canada’s bee population. Currently Beelieve is operating on the Tsuut'ina Nation having trained 12 Tsuut'ina Citizens in Beekeeping, installed 40 beehives, and planted an orchard containing 100 fruit bearing shrubs native to the area. We will begin selling products Summer 2018. |
