PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS
We are Noor and Kristy, 5th-year students and your Enactus UCalgary Co-Presidents for the 2021-2022 academic year! Enactus is important to both of us as through the many years that we’ve been a part of the team: it allowed us to see how our business skills could directly impact our local community. The benefits you’ll gain from Enactus UCalgary are different from any other club, as you get support from the Enactus community nationwide.
As Presidents, we strive to develop and strengthen deep and meaningful connections in our ever-changing academic environment. This will be done through inclusive team-building events, prioritizing mental health, and developing a new project to serve our community. What’s most important to us is diversity and creating a culture of inclusivity and empowerment where people can lead at every level.
This year, our goals are to host a social entrepreneurship case competition, compete at the Enactus Regionals and Nationals competitions, and celebrate our successes at the Enactus UCalgary year-end gala.
We want to leave behind a few things:
A culture of empowerment, passion, and drive
A strong foundation for our future projects to expand on a broader scale
A deeper impact on key stakeholders: students, alumni, and the community
We wouldn’t be able to do it without students like you who wish to make a difference in their communities.
Noor and Kristy
